A college student tries, against all odds, to get to his math exam on time.
"The goal with this film was to make a simple comedy with no dialogue at all, so I turned to the silent films. Just recently, I had watched through a ton of classics by Buster Keaton from the 1920's, and particularly fell in love with his ability to tell a hilarious story through a deadpan look and unbelievable stunts.
The film comes from a very real place, as someone who is often running late to work or school. We've all had those moments of panic when we sleep through an alarm, so this film became a story of "what if everything that could slow this guy down all happened at once? The light that I spend forever waiting at is especially personal, as that very light we filmed at in front of UNLV is how I get to school, and it is incredibly long in reality. I have found myself impatiently waiting for that light many, many times, and it was fun to be able to include that in the film.
All in all, it was a lot of fun to try a genre I don't do much of. Most of my work is dark and cerebral and full of monologues, so getting to do a wordless action comedy was a blast." -Axel Knight

Axel Knight
"Late Student"
Axel Knight is a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. He is currently studying theatre and film at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. As an actor, he has been working consistently in theatre and film since 2011, doing some work in Los Angeles, but most in his hometown of Las Vegas. His most recent acting credit was in his friend Jack Silver's short film, Follower.

Josh Johnston is a Film student at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He is an aspiring screenwriter.
Shack
"Car Driver"
Shack is a technical theatre student at UNLV. Their background is in theatre, but they are excited to be branching out into the world of film. Their most recent acting credit was playing Viola in Axel Knight's theatrical production of Twelfth Night.

Axel Knight is a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. He is currently studying theatre and film at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has been making movies since he was a little kid, usually acting and directing at the same time, inspired by actor/directors like Laurence Olivier, Orson Welles, Kenneth Branagh, and Buster Keaton. The Exam is the fourth film that he has made as a writer/director, his last film being an Edgar Allan Poe film that he made as a junior in high school over six years before. Since then, his career as a director has been focused on theatre, directing six plays between 2015 and 2020 for various companies in Vegas, most recently a production of Twelfth Night. After this long hiatus, he is excited to return to the camera and dip back into film.

Jacob Peterson is a local to the Las Vegas, NV area and has earned an associates degree in Film & Television at the College of Southern Nevada. A love for cinematography has led him to continue his education at the University of Nevada Las Vegas to earn a bachelor's degree in film. Jacob is a content creator for Limitless Physical Therapy Services.
